I'm editing an upcoming issue of the Journal of Media Literacy on School 2.0: How media and technology are transforming education in the 21st century.

I would love to publish some articles from the folks participating in the ASLA conference. They are generally about 1500-2000 words, semi-scholarly (written for easy comprehension).

Good idea, because we were getting worried about the move of ISLD to the first Monday in October since our schools would be in their first week.

It's fantastic to see this SIG taking an active interest in providing good links to the broader community. This is a good list - thank you.
I look forward to reading more about good sites and coming events. Well done Judi and Ruth!

I'm writing on behalf of our organization, Library Linkages Foundation, which is a registered TRUST based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. We were privileged to be members of IASL through the Support-A-Member scheme and also to win a Book Award from the latter. We are involved in the development of school libraries especially those in less disadvantaged areas. We do this by having training workshops for the teachers/librarians running these libraries and also donating books to these schools. This post is to solicit for support from members of IASL in whatever form to help us achieve our stated goals and objectives. If you require more information about our activities and programmes, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank You!
